Verity Germaine

Verity Germaine grew up in the theater and sauntered sideways to burlesque over five years ago, where she continues to blur the lines between art forms because genre purity is boring. Seattle's Dirty Darling pulls from jazz age shimmies to glittery pop rock, ancient myth to modern science fiction, to create bewitching, powerful, and sometimes dangerous stories on stage.

 

Verity is a born and bred Seattleite who takes great joy in the city's nerdlesque culture, appearing in such shows as Accio Burlesque (2014 & 2018), Whedonesque Burlesque, Star Trek: the Sexed Generation, Burl-X-Men, and Guardians of the Sexy. She has also performed both neo-burlesque and classic acts across Seattle in Tuesday Tease, Broadway Babes, Revelry, the historic Pink Door stage, and a wide variety of other shows; as well as Monday Night Tease in Los Angeles, and two different iterations of the International Nerdlesque Festival in New York City.
